Last night BET aired its first Black Girls Rock award show hosted by Nia Long, to honor african american women and their accomplishments. One of the best highlights of the show was the performance of the cover of Nina's Simone's "Four Women" by Jill Scott, Marsha Ambrosius, Kelly Price and Ledisi.
Good job to BET for showcasing powerful african american women that make a difference in our everyday lives and not just in the realm of entertainment. The show airs again on BET on Tuesday 11/9 8PM EST
